Frequently Asked Questions
-
Neurodivergent refers to individuals whose brains function differently than what is considered typical. This includes autism, ADHD, OCD, dyslexia, sensory processing differences, and more. We affirm neurodivergence as a valid and valuable way of experiencing the world — not something that needs to be “fixed.”
-
We work with neurodivergent adults, including:
Autistic adults
Adults with ADHD, OCD, dyslexia, and sensory sensitivities
Self-diagnosed or late-diagnosed individuals
Adults navigating both neurodivergence and trauma
Individuals living with DID or dissociative symptoms
-
No formal diagnosis is required. Whether you’ve been diagnosed, self-identified, or are just beginning to explore neurodivergence, we welcome you.
-
Yes. All of our therapists are trained in trauma recovery and understand the ways that neurodivergence and trauma often intersect — such as sensory trauma, medical trauma, misdiagnosis, and long-term masking.
Some of our therapists are neurodivergent themselves. All provide non-pathologizing, compassionate care.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a powerful, evidence-based therapy for healing trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and long-standing emotional pain. It helps process painful memories and stuck emotional patterns in a gentle, structured way — without needing to re-tell everything in detail.
We adapt EMDR for neurodivergent brains, sensory needs, and communication preferences.
-
EMDR Intensives are longer sessions (2–4 hours) or multi-day programs designed to accelerate trauma healing in a focused, supportive environment. They may be a good fit if you:
Feel stuck in traditional weekly therapy
Want deeper work in less time
Are preparing for a major life transition
Need a more contained healing process
We tailor intensives to your pace, needs, and regulation strategies.
-
